Domain sightings are random encounters with domain names “in the wild.” This is when we come across domains in the physical realm and not on the internet!
Where do we see these domains?
On cars, boats, even planes, and business signs or products. For organizational purposes, we group them into dot .com domain sightings and all the other ccTLDs, gTLDs and TLDs.
Today we came across an odd situation, as the photo below shows. The company name is called Adept Appliance Service. It would appear that they’d use the matching .com but instead they use the domain ApplianceServicesJacksonville.com.
Hmmm. I don’t know where to begin with this one.
All is good, however. According to their web site: “At Adept Appliance Service, LLC, we cater to the busy homeowner who just doesn’t have the time or resources to put life on hold when a major appliance needs repair or installation.”
