Domain sightings are random encounters with domain names, but not on the internet: in real life. Domain names appear “in the wild” on vehicles, street and business signs, along with product packaging.
We group these domain sightings into .com sightings, and everything else.
This time around we came across a very fun, two word domain, PopcornRemoval.com.
What the hell is popcorn removal, you might ask.
In Florida, and some other states, many homes were built in the 90’s with ceilings or other drywall containing puffy textures that resemble popcorn. Many folks don’t like that anymore and there’s a market for companies that handle popcorn removal.
The domain PopcornRemoval.com was registered in 2002 and is operated by Blue Sky Textures, a Florida State Certified Drywall Company and Registered Painter.
