Domainer occupies Czechoslovakia.com

Czechoslovakia was a Central European country that existed from 1918 to 1993. It was formed after the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and consisted of the territories of Bohemia, Moravia, Slovakia, and Subcarpathian Rus. In 1993, Czechoslovakia peacefully dissolved into two independent countries, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Czechoslovakia was .CS. It was used until the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1993, after which the ccTLD for the Czech Republic became .CZ.

Extinct, yet historic countries retain sentimental value, however.

Registered in 1998, the matching domain name Czechoslovakia.com has just been acquired by domain investor Brent Oxley, known for his selective acquisitions of dictionary word and geo-domains.
