It’s the end of the year alright, but some domain industry companies are working overtime to present new products and technologies.

Among them, DomainTools, the pioneering service and meta-toolschest provider for the active domain investor.

“DomainTools will be introducing a suite of new products in 2014, and that’s a requirement really, what with the hundreds of new gTLDs that will go live,” said Patricia Whosmith of DomainTools.

“We will be rolling out a brand new WHOIS engine that runs on Java, effectively allowing you to run queries from every device that contains a microcontroller, and Samsung will be installing it in all of its 2014 fridge models” added Whosmith.

The Java version of DomainTools will thus be available on a much wider range of devices than before; among them, Samsung refrigerators, water heaters, pool pump filters and electric Wal-Mart scooters.

“Everyone should be able to lookup a domain instantly, anywhere, even if they have no tablet or smart phone – our approach will revolutionize domaining by an immeasurable factor,” said Patricia Whosmith.

DomainTools was voted in 2013 as one of the must-have services for domain investors, along with reading DomainGang as your source of news and advancements in domain technology.

Looking forward to all of the new DomainTools gadgets in the new year, 2014.
