Francois shuts down Domaining aggregator in protest of SOPA bill

The popular domain blog and news aggregator, Domaining.com, will be shutting down in protest of the SOPA bill.

Francois, the French entrepreneur who is known for his aggressive rollout of multi-niche domain-related web sites, announced earlier today that the popular aggregator will shut down, albeit temporarily.

For 24 hours the web site will display movies of famous French actors and actresses, such as Maurice Chevalier, Catherine Deneuve, Gerard Depardieu, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Isabelle Adjani and Brigitte Bardot.

“But of course, hmmm? What to do when Internet policy crazy, stupid? I believe in liberte, freedom, domain speech for blog and CAX.com newsletter success. How do this when Internet chopped, hmmm?”, said Francois while taking a mini vacation in Nice.

“And show French cinema, j’adore, is time domaineur understand pride French and domains, no?” added Francois.

Domaining.com has been a pioneer in news aggregation since the mid 1980’s, providing teletype and mail courier news in Paris, France. Since the late 2000’s it went all digital.

It will be the first time the Domaining.com service will be disrupted in a decade.
