It’s strange that we just found out about FreeMarket.com, a free domain marketplace operated by Freelancer.
Since 2014, the web site is hosting only domain name listings; before, it was a general marketplace like e.g. eBay. The domain itself was registered way back in 2003.
There are more than 50,000 domain names listed, and it’s free to join. Sales commissions are rendered only when a sale occurs.
Fees start at a low 5% “success fee” and increase depending on promotional features. You can see the full fee schedule here.
We’d like to see Escrow.com being used as the funds facilitator; after all, Escrow.com is operated by Freelancer as well! 😀
