FreshStore.com: Domain sold but looks like a loss

The sale of FreshStore.com, a great domain name, was reported earlier today by domain investor and broker, James Booth.

Sharing the news, James noted that the sale took place on Atom, the domain marketplace formerly known as Squadhelp.

Scoring a $10,000 dollar sale isn’t a small feat, however Atom charges 25% commission on all sales that fall between $5,000 and $49,999 dollars. That means James netted $7,500 dollars.

So what’s wrong with that, you might ask.

NameBio lists the domain FreshStore.com as previously sold for $8,100 dollars in 2020 so that’d be a loss of $600 dollars approximately. The domain had a listing price of $21,799 dollars.

Sometimes you win, some times you lose but the fact remains: FreshStore.com has strong potential to be a high five figures domain, once developed.
