GoDaddy raises prices by $1 after Danica Patrick’s Daytona 500 fiasco

GoDaddy is raising their domain registration prices by $1effective immediately – to compensate for the huge financial loss sustained during the Daytona 500 race.

“Unfortunately, Danica Patrick totaled three custom-made GoDaddy cars and at a price of $1.8 million a piece this is getting expensive”, said the founder Bob Parsons, en route to elephant hunting in Africa.

“It’s a small price to pay and only fair that GoDaddy and Danica Patrick fans will share the cost of providing millions with entertainment and quality registrar services”, added Bob Parsons.

The increase in price will pay for the customizations made in Danica Patrick’s cars, including double insulated leggings to protect her famously advertised long legs.

No price increase is scheduled for TDNAM domain auctions that will remain ridiculously overpriced.

Huh? What? No way. I will use another registrar. Ask Danica to pay for those losses, not me. Thats insane.

Is that a joke? I only own a few hundred, but if those slbs think i’m gonna pay an extra $200 a year because he’s nuts and she a putz, forget about it.
