GoDaddy sells two letter domain GH.com to Chinese buyer

LL .com domains are popular in China.

Namefind, the domain portfolio managers of GoDaddy, sold GH.com to a Chinese buyer.

According to domain investor, George Kirikos, the two letter domain sale raises the number of China-owned LL .com domains to 154, out of 676.

That’s 22.8% of the total, with US registrants owning 350 two letter .com domains (51.8%).

There is no information about the financials of the sale, expected to be in the 7 figure range.

Sales of two letter .com domains to Chinese domain buyers remain strong, despite a crash of other short domain markets, including the so-called “Chinese premium” letters in LLL and LLLL.
