Head of IMF domain dropped 10 days before Strauss-Kahn sex assault

Dominique Strauss-Kahn, head of IMF during happier times.

Despite the serenity status of Sundays, most people by now would know that Strauss-Kahn, head of International Monetary Fund (IMF) – was booked in NY with charges of attempted rape of a hotel maid.

Allegedly abusing his position of power – and an apparent viagra after-effect – Mr. Strauss-Kahn dragged the visiting maid into the room and forced himself onto her.

These are serious charges that Strauss-Kahn is facing and the media circus will have material for weeks.

Sex and politics have always gone hand in hand, in America and worldwide.

What’s interesting, is that the domain name Strauss-Kahn.com dropped literally days before yesterday’s event.

Sure enough, a domain entrepreneur registered this accurate, dashed version of the financier’s last name and it’s currently parked at Parked.com with an amusing picture in its template 😀

We can’t predict if the list of registrations will even get close to those related to Osama bin Laden but the new motto seems to be that if something makes the news, it’s registrable as a dot com.

In the case of Strauss-Kahn the new registrations include .org and .info as well.
