#HODL .com : #Domain owner ups his asking price in the middle of #crypto crisis

In December, we pointed out that the owner of the domain HODL.com wants half a million dollars.

The term “HODL” is a typo of “hold,” indicating the mentality of cryptocurrency investors to hold onto their investments, as opposed to liquidating them in panic.

The cryptocurrency market peaked at the end of 2017, briefly sustaining that peak into early 2018. After the first week of the new year, however, crypto crisis took over.

Bitcoin in particular was hit pretty hard; it now trades at 50% of its December valuation, with strong resistance at $9,000 USD.

  1. Maybe he wants to HODL on to his domain for a while lol…

  2. Dombuzz says:

    I have Hodlr.com, I’ll ask for half price 😛

  3. CB says:

Maybe he should buy hold.com and bundle it for when everyone realizes it’s worth far less. Did that guy selling brexit.com ever get that sold for much?
