Is Chef Patrick done with domaining?

Chef Patrick from TRAFFIC 2010 in Las Vegas.

Chef Patrick has not blogged for months; his last post about Sedo.me was made five months ago.

Having announced his intention not to host a DNCruise event this year, Patrick Ruddell might have disappointed many of his fans.

Today, Patrick announced that through his real estate company, Tampa Home Buyers LLC, he has achieved his first paid sale,  after four years of being out of the real estate game.

Along with his wife, Zezura, who is a licensed realtor, the Chefster is obviously back to the familiar tasks that preceded his career as a domainer.

So is Chef Patrick done with the domain scene and domaining in general?

Not quite so.

The ScienceFiction.com project seems to be going strong and we would not be surprised if something bigger made waves.

Keep up the heat in the kitchen, Chef Patrick! 😀

So does he own TampaRealEstate dot com?

  2. Lucius "Gunz" Fabrice says:

    BullS – No.

  3. BullS says:

He could have sold 100000+ houses if he owns that domain….

I guess be broke the cardinal rule of domaining—location location location

  4. BullS says:

Do you think he could have make more money if he had bought tamparealestate.com instead of that frisky science geeky domain for his business?

  5. James says:

He’s such a slime ball. I hope he’s out of this industry. Rick gave him his first break with an interview back in the day then he decides to backstab. Pretty sure scifi will be going back to Dom capital one day while they laugh at him for paying too much.

  6. Lucius "Gunz" Fabrice says:

BullS – Would have, should have. Any domain will do, the real estate market operates differently. I’ve seen realtors use their name domain, with a Realtor.com generated placeholder and content, so he should be fine.

James – Unless you have some personal beef with the Chef, I suggest that you abstain from personal attacks.

Ha, I wish I would have been smart enough to purchase TampaRealEstate.com that far back. Rob Grant was the smart one to grab it.

I’m not done with domaining, just keeping my investments private, and a low profile. But yes, physical real estate was my first love, before domaining, and something that I have wanted to get back into for a long time now. There is nothing like it.

James, an interview? Really, that was my big break, LMAO. So that is the trick to being successful, interview Rick Schwartz and money will just fall from the sky. My big break was putting myself out there, building a brand in “Chef Patrick”, being creative with video, traveling to ALL of the domain events, owning thousands of domain names, creating a successful domain event in DNCruise, and either buying, selling and or brokering over $3,500,000 in domain names. Oh yea, and personally purchasing a six-figure domain name, building it into a website that receives over 500,000 monthly visits. Yup… that’s what you call an overnight success all because of an interview (SARCASM).

But it is for people like James that I have decided, as of lately, to keep my business dealings private. There are just too many HATERS that can sit behind a computer and say whatever they’d like, without ever meeting or knowing me. I won’t comment again on this, my resume speaks for itself James!

Patrick – I think haters hate and lovers love. James seems to have fallen for some media propaganda but I’m glad you are doing well and have come to write what you did. Wishing you lots of success no matter what you do in the future.

  9. BullS says:

It is never too late to buy that domain for your real estate business.

  10. BullS says:

Why do you approve comments from people who hide behind girls’ skirts like James?

Show me your balls…if you have

  11. Lucius "Gunz" Fabrice says:

BullS – Every comment’s IP is tracked. I can’t show you my balls, sorry.
