Juan Diego Calle : POP.co management has been transferred

Juan Diego Calle, founder of dot .CO, announced the transfer of POP.co to a new majority owner.

Earlier this year, we announced the launch of POP.co, a start-up with a multi-layer services model.

According to Juan Diego Calle’s announcement, Corey Ballou, first employee of the company, is now the new CEO and majority owner:

It’s my pleasure to announce today, that the majority ownership and full management of POP.co has been transferred to our lead developer, and first employee, Corey Ballou.

Corey built the system and knows it better than anyone. And more importantly, he has incredible drive and a strong vision of what POP will be.

I’m excited for Corey, and for the future for POP. I truly believe that under his leadership the company will flourish.”

Thanks for the write up! It’s an exciting time for POP and we’ll be moving forward with the development of some additional features which I myself have come to expect and love from domain registrars. We’ll continue to push POP in the direction of simplifying the process of building an online web presence. Stay tuned!
