NameBee buys Domaining for $7.25 million

Francois Carrillo - Domaining.com

As of Monday morning 9:00am Paris time, Francois CarrilloFrench domainer entrepreneur – is a multi-millionaire, even after hefty French taxes are imposed.

In a shocking acquisition that will be talked about for months to come, Francois has sold Domaining.com to the less popular domain news aggregator, NameBee.

“So happy, cannot hide! Finally, time to enjoy life with family and romance with wife”, said Francois in an early morning conversation, while sipping French vanilla coffee. “A little bit over $7 million dollar, yes, and sale happen on CAX.com where else, where else?”, he added.

This is the biggest sale of an electronic domain publication since Ron Jackson’s sale of DNJournal.com. NameBee plans to keep both entities separate but intends to monetize them differently. Francois Carrillo’s domain marketplace, CAX.com facilitated the sale.

“Andrew buys Domaining.com and I am President of European operations, very great”, added Francois while munching on his second croissant. “With money in bank I invest two letter .com and .fr keyword, see sales on CAX.com daily!”

The sale will complete later this week, as soon as the current dust from the Rick SchwartzChef Patrick fist fight settles.

The NameBee / Domaining merger creates the biggest single source of blog links and huge square ad banners in domaining and the Internet.
