NamesCon Global is moving to Austin in 2020, and the new dates are January 29th – February 1st.
The biggest domain name conference in the world moved away from Las Vegas after six years, to Austin in Texas.
Austin offers bigger opportunities to network and a modern venue, away from the glitch and kitsch that Las Vegas is known for. With that move arrives higher prices for hotel rooms.
Even the hotels at the discounted rate will remind seasoned domainers of New York prices!
The Omni Austin Hotel offers its deluxe rooms from a base price $229 dollars per night and up, and there are options for $279 dollars and $329 dollars per night for the suite. None of these prices include taxes and surcharges.
Domain investors attending NamesCon 2020 will definitely need to define a generous budget for their hotel stay – we’re not in Vegas anymore!
