Costing from a “few” hundred thousand dollars, to millions, having a short numeric car plate is a must, in oil-rich Middle East.
The web site Numbers.ae is offering a feature to customize one’s searches.
Want just 3 digits? Or a longer plate that ends in 888? How about a cellphone number that ends in 1234 ?
According to the web site:

We are a group of specially qualified individuals in our field, aiming to create an easy and convenient way to purchase or sell Plate and Mobile Numbers.”
There are plenty of NNN, NN and even N car plates in the live inventory. The biggest deal so far was for a NN car plate that sold for approximately $735,000 dollars.
The Numbers.ae web site is in English and Russian, and with domain investors from China going gaga about numbers, perhaps it should be in Chinese too. 😀
