With the expected proliferation of new gTLDs, new consultancy companies are popping up daily; the rate is exciting for the angel investors of the Silicon Valley.

Frank Schilling’s Uniregistry is apparently moving to a brand new building in California; the extra space is much needed in order to house all of the 54 gTLDs that it applied for.

Today, Frank’s team announced the launch of Polyphemus, a new “one-eyed” gTLD consultancy service, that aims to become the king among the technologically blind:

“I was killing some time eating lunch at the kitchen table here in the Caymans, reading Rob Monster’s post about the one-eyed king, and I got hooked,” said Frank Schilling, tapping away the final touches of the new company’s formation notes.

“So one-eyed king, huh, that’s the cyclops of the Greeks, right? And who was the most famous of them all? Polyphemus. I just so happen to own Polyphemus.com and now I can roll this out in full knowledge of its immense potential, all thanks to Rob!” exclaimed Frank Schilling.

Polyphemus.com is a domain asset in the hands of Frank Schilling’s Name Administration since about 2003, after its prior owners let it lapse.

As a gTLD consultancy, Polyphemus will “keep an eye open” for Fortune 500 companies eager to capitalize on the new advancements of the Internet landscape, and the necessity to protect one’s trademarks and brands across thousands of emerging gTLDs.

“The future is forming right in front of us, and we must remove the side blinders to take in all the light it’s projecting!” said Frank Schilling, signing off Skype.

Polyphemus will be ready to roll out just in time for NamesCon 2014, the brand new domain conference which takes place in Las Vegas from January 13-15, 2014. Frank Schilling is a keynote speaker at the event.
