William Shatner negotiated for Kayak, apparently.
Priceline.com is acquiring Kayak Software for $1.8 billion dollars in cash and stock. The sale occurs less than four months after Kayak had an IPO!
Kayak had $224 million in revenues in 2011, and Priceline will pay $40 a share for the company – a 50% premium on the Kayak IPO pricing of $26 per share.
