Sponsors.org, a great one word .org domain name, was auctioned off at DropCatch today, following its drop.
The auction lasted for an extended period of time, and in the end Sponsors.org closed at $6,951 dollars.
The winner was DropCatch user “FredNB1” who hopefully will follow up with payment.
Originally registered in 1999, the domain was in the possession of World Vision Inc., an Evangelical Christian humanitarian aid, development, and advocacy organization.
Sponsors.org was being forwarded to my.worldvision.org in recent years.
