The premium domain Tech.ai sold for $110,000 dollars today, on Spaceship’s SellerHub platform.
Announcing the sale, Spaceship CEO Richard Kirkendall, noted the huge savings in fees that this transaction cost: $27,500 less than if it had sold on competitor platform, Afternic.
Other recent domain sales on Spaceship’s platform that only charges 5% in fees include:
ide.ai – $50,000 dollars
smb.ai – $75,000 dollars
pioneer.ai – $111,000 dollars
Once again, Richard Kirkendall noted the sellers’ savings, a whopping $133,750 less than what Afternic would have charged.
A private sale of more than $300,000 dollars was also mentioned, without revealing the exact domain.
Spaceship is no longer feeding Afternic’s domain listings to its popular marketplace, according to Richard Kirkendall.
