The gTLD race is on: Elliot goes after .SILVER

Elliot invests in .SILVER

Many unsuspected domainers had a rude awakening after ICANN introduced 1930 new gTLDs that were applied for.

While the first round of applications is pending, not many industry professionals have realized that ICANN is still taking applications – for round two.

Domain investor, Elliot Silver, is one of them, and he’s going after dot .SILVER.

“I sold my Apple stock a month ago and made a considerable amount of money, that more than covers the ICANN gTLD application fee,” said Elliot, while updating his DogWalker.com database.

“I could have bought a house in Florida with that money, but I decided to invest it in .SILVER instead.”

Elliot’s idea is to provide information about the lucrative market behind the precious metal of silver, along with free domains for the Silver family members.

“I have my brother pestering me for a while, and others as well, so now everyone will get their Name.SILVER domain and be done with it,” chuckles Elliot. “I think I will give one to my dog as well!” he exclaims.

For $185,000 dollars, Elliot’s investment in a spiffy new gTLD will definitely bring in handsome returns, for years to come.
