Top Level Domain Names : #Domain about TLDs finds a new home!

Domain investors, also known as “domainers,” are partial to their assets. Whether it’s an amplified hobby, or a full-fledged business, domain investing is a fun occupation that can become very profitable.

So what are top level domain names? According to Wikipedia:

A top-level domain (TLD) is one of the domains at the highest level in the hierarchical Domain Name System of the Internet after the root domain. The top-level domain names are installed in the root zone of the name space. For all domains in lower levels, it is the last part of the domain name, that is, the last non empty label of a fully qualified domain name. For example, in the domain name www.example.com., the top-level domain is com.

It goes without saying that the ultimate descriptor of a top level domain name as a collective class is the domain TopLevelDomainNames.com.

That gem is now in the possession of our friend Dan, who has been a member of the domain industry for a long, long time. Dan tweeted about his acquisition:

The time has come for me to reveal my brand new FOUR WORD EXACT MATCH DOMAIN NAME! It finally arrived in my account!

I purchased this name because it spoke to me! I’m interested to know does it speak to you?  TopLevelDomainNames.com

Let’s see what Dan does with the domain, that appears to have been for sale for $4,990 dollars. We can’t be certain this is the price Dan paid for the domain. For reference, Mrs. Jello LLC owns the domain TopLevelDomains.com, registered in 1997.
