Uniregistry: Spending $9,990,000 is only the gTLD beginning

Uniregistry aspires to be a big player in the gTLD arena.

Uniregistry aspires to be a big player in the gTLD arena.

The coming months will increase the temperature underneath the gTLD cauldron to a scorching boil! 😀

The biggest players in the game have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars, and some millions; while the application fee of $185,000 per gTLD is (partially) refundable if the application is not approved, it’s still a lot of money to tie down up front.

One of the biggest players in the game is Frank Schilling’s Uniregistry.

There are 54 gTLDs that Uniregistry applied for; that’s a whopping $9,990,000 in ICANN fees!

Statistically, while not every single gTLD is expected to be allocated, that’s a lot of new Internet territory to be explored and reaped.

Here’s the complete list of gTLDs that Uniregistry has applied for – which ones would you be interested in?
