Verisign, managers of the .com and .net TLDs, sends their warmest wishes for a happy new year to all domainers.
Along with this beautiful message, arrives a price hike, to the tune of 10% for all .net domain names. The price increase will occur on February 1st, 2018.
Thus, the base price registration, renewal, or transfer for .net domains will go up, from $8.20 to $9.02 dollars.
Most affected by this 10% increase are old school network administrators, investors that were late to the .com and Germans, that allegedly love .net domain names.
