We love weird NameJet handles, and this is one of the weirdest in a while: user ‘maidouxiangdangdang” placed a series of bids today, raising the offers for the domain name White.net.
NameJet has implemented stricter measures when verifying accounts, so let’s hope that the final bid by ‘maidouxiangdangdang’ was a valid offer.
Most likely it means something sweet and cuddly in Chinese, but we aren’t sure; it could be a curse to shrink the other bidders’ genitals! 😀
The auction for White.net met its reserve price, closing at $5000 USD.
The top bids of $1000 and up were as follows:
maidouxiangdangdang | $5,000 |
maidouxiangdangdang | $4,123 |
maidouxiangdangdang | $3,999 |
maidouxiangdangdang | $3,688 |
maidouxiangdangdang | $3,456 |
maidouxiangdangdang | $2,999 |
maidouxiangdangdang | $2,568 |
maidouxiangdangdang | $1,999 |
maidouxiangdangdang | $1,590 |
heroos | $1,000 |
The bid pattern by ‘maidouxiangdangdang’ seems to indicate that they were chasing the reserve.
If this NameJet auction is paid for, it’d be a great selling price for a single word .net.
