I don’t want to get back to you if I change my mind.

It won’t happen. Unless you believe that by filling out a form with your name and number you’re entitled to some special treatment.

I have the domain name that you want. I set the price. You simply are a passer-by.

As I was minding my own business, you flagged me down. You requested my attention. I spent time to listen to what you had to say, and you lost me when you said, “get back to me when you change your mind.”

Buddy, this isn’t grade school and we’re not passing notes around. If you have something to say that attaches to specific numbers, that’s how you get my attention.

When I say that you have one chance to close a deal, you also have one chance to make an ass of yourself – by not stepping up to the plate.

Domain names are just like other products, they do fluctuate in value, but the direction is mostly up.

So, no. I won’t change my mind. Sorry to burst your start-up CEO bubble, go get yourself another domain name.
