A little over three years ago, DomainTools gave me a call inquiring about advertising opportunities on DomainGang, which was then barely two months old. They immediately seized on the opportunity to secure the premium, top right ad spot and thus became corporate sponsors. Many were shocked to hear the news.
DomainTools is the definitive WHOIS tool and has improved and expanded its reach in the course of the three years that passed. In the same timeframe, traffic has more than doubled for DomainGang; it’s because we take a unique approach to domain and technology news.
I would like to thank DomainTools both as a company, and in particular Susan Prosser and Monica Gordon, for trusting DomainGang as the humorous projection of their products and services. It’s been a great time, a fun ride, and it will continue to be so. DomainTools provided us with an ample financial cushion, which due to budget cuts across the board won’t be available for 2013. We are sad to see them go, for sure.
