Amir Sah Abdalla: From rags to riches in domaining

Amir Sah Abdalla is on the up-and-up this week. The former sheepherder from Pakistan has been making a killing, only a year after he left behind his beloved sheep in Karachi’s outskirts, to become a full-time domainer.

Amir lived a hard life caring for his father’s sheep and goats since he was 7 years old. He remembers in the early days of his youth, how hard it was to put bread on the table.

“But we had plenty of sheep and goat milk and cheese”, he says smiling under his trademark thick mustache.

Nowadays at the mature age of 45, Amir Sah Abdalla – or, the “Dot Goat King” as his friends call him – is busy selling domain names on several large online venues. On a given week, he sells between 200 and 350 domains on eBay, Sedo, Afternic and via Twitter. He specializes in short, memorable domains in all TLD’s, such as BestGoatMilkNow.com, SheepMyFriend.in and MyShepherdsSpace.tel

Amir is also eager to assist fresh domainers that want to break away from their lifestyle and afford the “playa” lifestyle that domaining promises. He sells eBooks and his webinar of “How to forget goats and make money with domains” has been a best-seller on Amazon and Barnes and Noble for the past 3 months.

“I love America!”, he says, “They gave us the Internet and now I can trade domains from anywhere in the world”.

Amir admits that he still maintains a small sheep herd in Pakistan, but he does that remotely using Internet cams. Who knows, maybe one day you will be the next big domainer out of the rags and into the riches.
