- Because people finally realized that no one is typing in domains like ReallyFunnyCatsOnCatNipCrack.com
- Too many men sick from overeating and over drinking at domain conferences
- Those who entered the scene believing to pick up hot chicks like the ones in Chef Patrick’s videos finally realized they were paid models
- They spent too much money on making the cosmetics of a site look good and forgot to pay attention to the overall business plan
- People finally realized those “domains that I bought when drunk that have no traffic or revenue or any hope of actually being anything more than pointing to an IP” actually had a neat shortened nickname of “pigeon shit“.

The domain name hype was created by all those scammers selling (Clickbank)concepts like:
“How to get rich dealing with domain names?” or “How to become a millionaire with domain names?” That’s one of the reason why there are still plenty of fools selling pigeon shit domain names on eBay at million dollars!
99,99 % of people dealing with domain names are ignorants!

Can there not be a serious, honest dialogue about domaining?
I have a sick feeling that the enormous time and effort I have put into studying the domain name business has been wasted on scammers and liars who prey on less techically skilled.
The offhand joke attitude of almost every posting related to domaining should not stand.
Something has to give. If the domain industry is dead why are sedo and afternic still holding auctions?
What is the truth?
