Domainers crave sex and violence just like any average person

Let’s be frank here – although my name’s not Frank. Which reminds me of Frank Schilling.

Where was I?

Oh, about being frank. What a word. It denotes honesty – or something like that. So allow me to be honest for a second: human nature cannot change. We are still animals from the caves. We want blood and gore paraded in front of our eyes.

As domainers, we crave the next scandal, the next domain theft, the next sale that was achieved. It’s all about the ratings, baby.

As a great man said many years ago: “Measure your shadow and it will be as long as it was yesterday“. That man was wise. Success is based on one’s true achievements, not on one’s perception of the world.

In the domain community there’s plenty of poseurs that want to paint themselves in a godly light, when in fact they’re just fluffing it up. It all started with “mass development” and such obvious crap. Where’s the portfolio, bubba? No response. Oh well, months later the same story. Dude, it’s getting colder than a dead body in a Bronx morgue.

What is going on, people? Can’t tell apart the living from the dead?

I suppose that it’s hard to tell it like it is, especially when domainers form little circles of trust. I call them, “jerk circles”, and you can imagine what is going on in there. I can’t add more descriptive words, or Google AdSense will ban me.

Getting side-tracked again, where was I? Oh yes.

Someone made a shitty, serious comment yesterday about Ron Jackson, in the post about how he (supposedly) sold DNJournal. When people react like this about someone else’s success, what is the lesson to be learned? That domainers crave sex, violence, failure and are spiteful.

So don’t get inside the jerk-circle, folks. Avoid it, like you’d avoid a pact with Satan.
