VICIO, a Barcelona-based burger start-up with Leo Messi as one of its investors, received a 17 million euro investment.
The funding was led by IRIS Ventures with companies from Barlon Capital co-investing. In the process, the company picked up the exact match .com domain, Vicio.com.
The domain rebranding from GanasDeVicio.com, completed with the help of Catalan domain investor and broker, Jordi Gasull.

Jordi Gasull operates NameAgency; no details about the transaction’s financials were made available. Vicio.com was registered in 2000 and some time in the past it hosted adult content; vicio means addiction or bad habit in Spanish.
