The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) seized two domain names of web sites “specializing” in pre-releasing pirated music.
Both ShareBeast.com and AlbumJams.com are now under the control of the FBI.
Domains were seized by the FBI.
According to the RIAA, ShareBeast was the largest illegal file-sharing site operating in the United States.
Recent IP addresses used by the web site point the file-hosting site’s server in Illinois.
Sister site, AlbumJams.com was not as popular, but still engaged in music piracy as well. Both domains were registered with Internet BS as the registrar.
