One of the most popular domain-related blogs is about to call it quits, after its editor signed up with a popular rock ‘n roll band in Las Vegas, during NamesCon.
Minutes after signing the deal, Andrew Allemann, editor of Domain Name Wire announced the big news about joining the Million Dollar Quartet.
“Vegas, baby! It’s the only city in the world where you can lose it all or become a millionaire overnight!” said Allemann, visibly excited about the deal.
“I’m honored to be part of a legendary group with an Elvis repertoire – The King has been my idol since I could sing my ABC’s. Thank you, thank you very very much!” added Allemann, performing an Elvis trademark pelvic thrust.
The Million Dollar Quartet will retain its name and four member structure, as Allemann replaces lead guitarist, Jonas Strung, who attended NamesCon and decided to quit the band and become a domainer instead.
This remarkable trading of careers is yet another result of the huge success and impact of NamesCon – already the #1 Vegas domain conference in the world.
Andrew Allemann will be looking for senior editors to take over content writing for Domain Name Wire – if you are interested, send him an email.
Congratulations, Andrew!
