Jonathan Tenenbaum has been appointed by Media Options (MO) as its new Chief Operating Officer, leaving Web.com behind. Tenenbaum was GM of NameJet from 2014-2018.

MediaOptions, global leader in domain name brokerage services, today announced the appointment of veteran domain name attorney and executive Jonathan Tenenbaum as Chief Operating Officer. Tenenbaum will oversee the operational functions of MediaOptions with a focus on the growing company’s various businesses and partnerships.
This appointment sets the stage for significant growth for MediaOptions, as domain names and digital assets have become more valuable than ever during the accelerated digital shift brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. As for Tenenbaum, he has been a successful leader in the domain industry and brings a unique, hands-on perspective, spending the last fourteen years at Web.com in a variety of leadership and legal roles where he was most recently Associate General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer. Prior to that, he was General Manager of NameJet, the leading domain name auction platform that was initially founded as a joint venture between eNom and Network Solutions, which is a subsidiary of Web.com.
