ICANN84: Dublin event is the right time for Euro-friendly fashions

The last time ICANN hosted an event in Dublin, Ireland, Obama was US president. That was ICANN54, in 2015.

ICANN moved its ICANN84 session from Muscat, Oman to Dublin in July, and the event is now taking place this week, triggering excitement among those who attend ICANN conferences on a regular basis.

Among them is Christian Voss of Taku by GMO who invited everyone to perform two important tasks while in Dublin:

  • Wear turtlenecks & other European-friendly fashions.
  • Connect, share insights, and explore business ventures with Taku & the GMO Registry.

As Christian said:

“The event provides a valuable opportunity to connect with fellow professionals from registries, registrars, and technical communities — all working together to shape the future of the internet.

While that’s a special side note, the real highlight will be engaging with the global teams of GMO Registry, Inc. & GMO Internet Group, as well as registrars, registries, and community members from around the globe.”

Expect plenty of photos from Christian Voss’ trip to charming Dublin!
