The name and brand are often associated with the maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic, the titanic steam ship that sank in 1912. Prior to that, the word titanic was in reference to the Greek mythology and the Titans, a race of powerful deities who preceded the Olympian gods.

- The Titanic Hotels: annual revenue was $763.8 million in 2024.
- TITANIC II: A project by Australian billionaire Clive Palmer to rebuild the original RMS TITANIC as the flagship of the proposed cruise company Blue Star Line, Pty. Ltd. at an anticipated cost of $500,000,000 USD.
- The TITANIC Museum: Titanic Belfast more than doubled revenues from £6.38m to £14.36m (€16.48m) for the 12 months to the end of March 2023.
