The domain name Weather.ai was just sold for $150,000 dollars, according to a post by domain investor James Booth.
The sale took place on Atom, as the lander for Weather.ai still resolves there. Brokers Lumis brokered the transaction.
If confirmed, Weather.ai would become the #1 .AI sale this year, surpassing those of Tether.ai ($100,000) and Pump.ai ( $94,900).
Not too long ago, Weather.ai was in the possession of the entity that ran .AI for several years, Offshore.ai.
Artificial intelligence systems are often used in the prediction of weather worldwide.
