China‘s population of almost 1.4 billion people reflects the size of its national pride.
The world’s 2nd biggest economy spans millennia of cultural existence, and a long history of displaying its power.
With that in mind, Chinese diplomats made strong statements towards the US, urging Uncle Sam to “respect China’s sovereignty and security interests as an arbitral tribunal’s ruling on the South China Sea dispute draws near.”
What that means is, China wants free rein in the Pacific, almost independent of the paradigms dictated by the United Nations, the international body that settles such regional disputes.
Politics aside, the Chinese domain market is currently on a persisting plateau, having peaked several weeks ago. Whether it’s the so-called “summer doldrums” or an indication of a slowing Chinese economy, there is a smaller volume of domain sales to report in China.
To counter that, the results of World Domain Conference, a large international domain conference in China are in, and DNJournal covers the event expertly.
We keep track of sales of short domains in China, between 2 to 4 characters in length, for the .CN, .COM and .NET TLDs.
Here is today’s list of domains:
bht.cn
hky.cn
ndq.com
3517.com
csby.com
dyhk.com
fsqd.com
gxmr.com
jydt.com
kckh.com
lrhz.com
mnnx.com
mwqg.com
qnjl.com
xsgy.com

Let’s hope that next week we’ll see an increase to the volume of domain sales.
