Love.net: Former AOL domain asset for sale by Yahoo!

Love for sale—the .net kind, that is.

Yahoo! is selling the domain Love.net, one of its premium domain assets, after a series of rather costly IP acquisitions over the years.

Here’s what happened:

AOL owned the Love.com domain, offering it as an alternative email address option alongside @aol.com, @ygm.com, etc., but service for it ended around July 2022, and the domain was later sold.

Before AOL’s ownership ended, the domain Love.com passed through Verizon and then Yahoo as email services shifted, and eventually, the domain was sold to a health and wellness startup founded by entrepreneur Ryan Breslow for a significant amount; the exact sale price of the domain Love.com has not been publicly disclosed.

So what about Love.net?

That domain was used as a forward to the .com, thus being “unused” for several years. It’s now being offered for sale using the brokerage services of Jason Miner of NameAdvisor.

Mr. Miner [photo] is one of the top 10 brokers as acknowledged by Escrow.com.

Registered in 1998, Love.net is ripe and ready for a long term relationship!

Will you commit to it? 😁
