GoDaddy, the biggest domain registrar in the world, is getting its own domain conference.
GoDaddyCon is the name of the new conference for domainers that want to learn about domains, monetization, old and new gTLDs and how to navigate the complex registrar interface.
“We are witnessing an era where new domain conferences are appealing to end users and domainers alike, regardless of the quality of the buffet,” said GoDaddy VIP of domain relations, Beau Dady.
“By leveraging the unique opportunity of having our own domain conference, GoDaddyCon, we’ll be able to thwart any threats from emerging registries, that can’t make up their minds with regards to pricing,” added Beau Dady, winking.
The first GoDaddyCon will be held in the general proximity of the GoDaddy headquarters, in the Arizona desert, from July 1 to July 7, 2017.
Following the paradigm of Burning Man, it will be a 7 day festival of domaining, dubious food, dirty carnal activities and Mad Max inspired attire.
“GoDaddyCon sets new standards in domain investor relationships, we’ll get everyone in touch with their inner caveman and cavewoman!” exclaimed Beau Dady, adding: “Bring lots of suntan oil and lots of nipple rings and prophylactics!”
Part of the leaked domain conference agenda includes the following activities:
- Build your own GoDaddy store – but first, pitch a tent and set a perimeter for scorpions.
- Seminar: Ten apps to carry with you on a desert island.
- GoDaddy under the desert moonlight party.
- How to build your own commode in the desert.
- Domains and hosting : Skip water & food, survive on a digital asset diet.
