Ah, bella Italia.
While Mike Berkens is currently visiting the Italian peninsula, we’re stuck dealing with Italy’s ccTLD, dot .IT, instead.
The Italian national ccTLD was allocated in 1987, and it’s been used primarily by Italians, and very proudly so.
As the ccTLD is also an English word, there are plenty of opportunities for forming domain hacks.
One of them, Unclog.it, was spotted by Richard Lau in Vancouver, Canada.
According to their web site:

Who needs a .CA, when .IT can be used, eh? 😀
There is a dot-IT domain name I’d love to get hold of – for a genuine business, not just to speculate on.
Its not registered, or reserved, and will probably never be used, but registry rules say it can’t be sold so they won’t sell it to me – typical Europeans.

I love it! Especially how they added the full URL with www further down the van to help educate the consumer so they can easily relate .it to website address.
