Target is launching a new line of materials for arts and crafts, calling the brand Mondo Llama.
The Target brand provides home-based consumers with crayons, colors, and other materials for scrapbooking, painting, and other activities driven by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In doing so, Target has secured the domain name MondoLlama.com, along with its typo domain MondoLama.com – a phonetic equivalent.
Registered last year with CSC Corporate Domains, the domains don’t resolve currently. The full list of “Mondo Llama” related domains we could find, includes the following:
mondolama.com
mondollama.ca
mondollama.co.com
mondollama.com
mondollama.com.hk
mondollama.hk
mondollama.jp

Target isn’t always securing the domain name matching its brands; Favorite Day was recently announced as a new food and beverage line to be launched in April.
The matching domain, FavoriteDay.com, is for sale by its Korean registrant; the asking price appears to be $35,000 dollars on Afternic.
Both Mondo Llama and Favorite Day have been applied for as trademarks with the USPTO, both in plain text and stylized text formats.
