Shil.com offers four points of advice to #RDNH wannabes

The UDRP against the domain Shil.com ended with a finding of Reverse Domain Name Hijacking (RDNH.)

The case involved a domain with a registration predating the Complainant’s incorporation date by 18 years.

Getting a finding of RDNH against Somany Home Innovation Limited wasn’t the end of the road for the Respondent, who wants to warn similar wannabes from attempting to usurp domains without due diligence.

The domain’s registrant shares four points to avert such behavior. As they state on the subject:

  • Do your homework
  • Don’t make False Claims
  • Donโ€™t cheat and stick to the rules
  • Don’t attempt to bamboozle the panel by misquoting the UDRP policy

Well done by respondent. Complainant deserves to be shamed.
