FindLoans.com: Four figure investment turned into a five figure sale

The domain FindLoans.com has been sold and its seller appears to have scored a healthy ROI.

FindLoans.com was acquired in 2018 for the sum of $1,716 dollars, according to NameBio. It was an expired domain name that was auctioned off on GoDaddy, still retaining its original registration date of May 3, 1998.

Earlier today, domain investor Anthony “TonyNames” shared news of how he scored a quick $5 dollars, by reviewing a domain for sale on SquadHelp. The company gives $5 to the original reviewer when it sells.

So FindLoans.com did sell on SquadHelp but how much did it sell for?

Although the listing for FindLoans.com has been removed from SquadHelp, a quick search on the domain returns the following snippet in Google from the SquadHelp listing:

The listing price of $45,000 dollars at SquadHelp is lower than that on Sedo, where it was previously listed for sale for $49,050 dollars. But how do we know that the seller got what he was asking?

Todd Ryan said in that same exchange on Twitter:

“That was a friend of mine’s name. We talked about it yesterday. He got what he was asking.”

We can therefore safely say that FindLoans.com did sell for $45,000 dollars on SquadHelp. Congratulations to the seller, the buyer, and TonyNames.
