Domain keyword trends: The great “Logo” gold rush has begun!

Shane Cultra‘s recent sale of the three-word domain YourLogoHere.com for a whopping $45,888 dollars sparked a fresh frenzy among domain investors.

As word spread about Shane’s impressive return on investment, owners of much longer domains containing the word “logo” are now scrambling to cash in on what they perceive as the next big thing in keyword trends.

Gary Holesum is the proud owner of WePutYourLogoEverywhere.com:

“I’ve always believed in the power of a good domain,” Gary said, with a huge smile.

“When I saw that Shane sold his for almost fifty grand, I knew my time had come! WePutYourLogoEverywhere.com is just as catchy, if not more! I’m listing it for $100,000 but will also accept offers above $95k. Easy money!”

Logo domains are the new trend.

Gary isn’t alone in his sudden aspirations. Linda Meiner, who owns the slightly longer YourLogoOnEveryProductPossible.com, shared her excitement:

“I bought this domain as a joke gift for my brother’s online t-shirt business,” Linda admitted.

“But now I’m convinced it’s a virtual goldmine. I’m thinking of listing it for $75,000 dollars on Sedo. After all, it’s practically a steal compared to Shane’s boring domain!”

Long-tail domains are seeing their moment in the spotlight. Tim Schlonger is the proud owner of CustomLogosForYourDogAndCatGear.com.

“I used to get laughed at for this domain,” Tim admitted coyly.

“Who’s laughing now that Shane has shifted the paradigm? I’ve set my price at $50,000.88. People love their pets and they love logos. It’s a no-brainer!”

If you are heading out to NamesCon for the annual domain conference, watch out for a buttload of “logo” domains being peddled around by fellow domain investors. After all, there is no limit in dreaming.
