A buyer that used Dan.com as a platform to acquire a domain name, is now posting a bad review of Dan on Trustpilot.
He’s not the first, or the last. User complaints vary in their severity and this one is one big joke, as far we can tell.
Says the Dan.com user:
“I bought a domain that contains a trademark not knowing that I wouldn’t be able to host it anywhere.
This is a scam. They won’t give me a refund so I’ll go ahead and dispute.”
What?!
It seems that the buyer did not do any due diligence when buying the domain and clearly has buyer’s remorse, following the purchase. Why would this be the platform’s fault?
Clearly, not everyone who buys domain names, whether on Dan.com or elsewhere, understands or plays by the rules of the game.
