Kathy Nielsen is no longer with GoDaddy after four years with the GoDaddy Registry as Director of Premium Domains.
Ms. Nielsen joined GoDaddy upon its acquisition of Neustar in 2020 where she worked at the time. Previously, Kathy Nielsen worked for Sedo from 2008 to 2014 at various executive and managerial role positions.
Upon closing that GoDaddy chapter, Ms. Nielsen said:
“After an amazing 8 years working at GoDaddy & Neustar, I’m ready to start a new chapter. It’s an exciting market out there with some really compelling new products and ideas that will clearly change our future. I’m open to consulting projects and/or employment opportunities that are a good fit so feel free to reach out!”
As Benjamin Gless, a former sales director at GoDaddy said, “the end is just the beginning of the next adventure.”

Kathy is great. A consummate professional with a track record few in this industry can match. She is going to have a lot of good options to choose from when deciding what she wants to do next.
As far as I know domain industry is the lowest cost no barriers industry to get in to make money. The risks are so low or non existence.
