Oh boy! Dady.com auction winner’s a deadbeat

The auction for Dady.com closed at $35,000 dollars at DropCatch ten days ago but then strange things happened.

First, NameBio recorded the sale at $31,000 dollars, which might indicate a price adjustment was sent out by DropCatch. However, Dady.com is now back in a 3-day auction as the domain wasn’t paid for, apparently.

That means the auction’s winner was a deadbeat, not paying for the domain Dady.com. That’s not cool at all.

Dady.com will now have 3 days to find a new dad; the current highest bid stands at $1,810 dollars.

Incidentally, DropCatch sent out a services update today, noting that all maintenance work has been completed:

“We’re pleased to inform you that scheduled maintenance for DropCatch is now complete, and all services are fully operational.”
