Yelp Inc. concluded its trademark infringement lawsuit against a California individual and a business, alleging cybersquatting. At stake, was the domain name Yelp.ai.
The dismissal with prejudice was filed as neither defendant Paul Moreno nor Moreno Roofing Co. responded to the complaint or sought summary judgment.
Yelp announced that the defendants, Moreno and Moreno Roofing Co., agreed to transfer the domain Yelp.ai to Yelp and also make a settlement payment. No further information was made available.
This might not be good news for the registrant of YelpAI.com, a domain that’s currently listed for sale on Afternic.
