All of Mike Mann’s 50,000 dropped #domains are now re-registered!

Mike Mann “cleaned house” in late June, dropping 50,000 domain names from his 300k strong portfolio.

The serial entrepreneur and founder of BuyDomains let go of thousands of domains that apparently burned a hole in his pocket. Renewals would be to the north of $400k annually.

Thousands of these domains were registered in the coming days, mostly from enterprising domainers that went on a feeding frenzy, picking through Mike Mann’s “domain garbage.”

“I can’t believe Mike let these beauties go, I spent 57 hours going through them one by one to find the best ones,” said Tomas Ngin from Milpitas, California.

“I ended up picking 528 domains mostly long tail such as NationalAssociationOfLegalAssistants.com, InternationalMetaphysicalUniversity.com, and InternationalProRodeoAssociation.com – I am thrilled!” exclaimed Ngin.

In the days since, tens of thousands of domains were picked by HugeDomains, GoDaddy NameFind, New Ventures, and Bob’s Sexy Domain Shop, for a total of 50,228 domains, mostly .com, making Verisign’s stock jump into the 200’s.

“I’m grateful to Mike Mann for dropping his crumbs for us pigeons to feed on, and I’m not going to disappoint Mike – I plan to sell these for at least $2,888 to $4,888 each,” said domain investor Keal Themall, adding: “We are living in remarkable times!”

If you want to register any of Mike Mann’s dropped domains, there aren’t any left – so wait until next year when they’ll all be available.

    @MapleDots – But do you remember PigeonDomains.com?

    Mann’s dropped domains would have been caught by PigeonDroppings

    To be fair, the majority are garbage and a waste of $$$$
    However, some get traffic and are not that bad
    I picked up a few…
